I’m developing simulations of an agent-based model for a growing bacterial colony with phage infection. The goal is to develop a continuum model of this growing colony using PDEs.
I worked on a network model for the growth of a bacterial population, with inter-phenotypic switching. We derived some results about the asymptotic growth rate of populations represented by sparse networks.
I developed numerical simulations of a random dynamical system to depict intermittency and ergodicity breaking in some parameter regimes.
I worked on an extended SIR model for a vector-borne epidemic, with external forcing. We compared stochastic and deterministic versions of the model to observe the interaction between stochasticity and time-varying external forcing in the model.

I participated in a summer research school organized by the London Mathematical Laboratory and the International Centre for Theoretical Physics. I worked on a project which involved simulating a random dynamical system. At the end of my project, I presented my results to the participants of the summer school.
